The second NCC consultation stage for planning for the incinerator has started. The 1,400 page document is available from this site www.klwin.org/CWFIR13Jan12.pdf as a single file 117.5MB (a big file). The advice is that if you put in an objection during the planning consultation last summer and want to see the response, download the document and use the search function available in Acrobat to easily find the sections that interest you by using key word searching. If you have a word document open at the same time you can cut and paste the relevant sections into a document you can then examine at leisure!
PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY ISSUES RAISED IN THIS NEW NCC PLANNING DOCUMENT CAN BE RESPONDED TO. This is because these are the issues which NCC identified as having not been satisfactorily dealt with in the first consultation, so it is possible that your objection may not be reflected in this second one.
What should you do once you have found and studied the sections of interest to you? KLWIN advice is that you should form a judgement as to whether the responses from Cory Wheelabrator deal with the issues to your satisfaction or not. You can respond directly to NCC as appropriate, or you can wait for the KLWIN planning group to reach an agreed position on how best to use individual assessments of the planning responses.
